Handling Rejection In MLM

 

If you are building your network marketing business, you will definitely face some rejection throughout your recruiting endeavors.

It may sometimes hurt you when you get rejected.

When you think of the amount of effort you have put in and the time you spent to explain to your prospects, you will often feel tired and down when you get rejected.

But it is considered normal in this industry or in any other industry where sales are required.

So how can we deal with rejection in MLM?

Listening to your prospect is the most important skill that you must develop.

Everyone has a different reason or circumstances.

The reason why they want to look for more income will be different.

It will come to no use if you just keep on talking and talking before knowing what your prospects are really looking for in an opportunity.

When your prospect feels that they actually stand a chance in getting their goals with your business, your rejection will decrease substantially.

Of course, things don’t always go your way so do not stress out even if you get rejected.

 

With time, you will gain experience and if you do not learn from your experiences, shame on you.

Be thoughtful of what you have done before.

Think about the people that rejected you and those who joined.

How did you talked to them and find out what you did right and wrong.

This is very important for you to discover yourself and a businessman as well as a person.

 

When you get rejected, don’t take it personally.

This is a difficult barrier for most MLM business owner.

You have to bear in mind that they are rejecting the business, not you.

Perhaps it is not the right time for them or it is not suitable for them.

No sweat.

Just go on ahead with your next prospect.

Actually, you can be thankful to those who rejected you because this tells you that you should not waste time on them and move on.

However, if they come back and find you, be ready to offer them any advice or help if needed.

 

When building your MLM business, you have to know that you won’t be able to recruit every single person that you come across.

This is impossible.

Even the top leaders in the industry will tell you that this is the fact.

No matter how great your product and company is, you will still be rejected by many people.

This is just the way this business is all about.

On the other hand, there will also be people that will join you.

It is just the matter of work, time and effort.

The main concern for many people is the amount of prospects that they have.

Think about it, if you only have 30 prospect, you will be desperate when you have been rejected by 15 of them.

Half way and you are yet to sign someone up.

But if you have 100 prospects, you won’t feel this way.

You can just move on to the next person.

This is the reason that leads to fear of rejection.

 

At the end of the day, you must remember that some people will and some won’t.

It is not under your control.

What you can do is to continue and move forward.
